Known as the Soldiers of the ars magica, Considered the most deadly next to the witches, their unique ability to control blood made them stand out from the others. 

 

They were feared by their own and by anyone other race for this gift, but were known for their undying loyalty. Often looked at as Soldiers to serve and destroy bloodmages were easy to distinguished from their blood red hair, They usually are passive but if provoked in anyway they will attack without question. Also known as the bloodhound for their keen scene bloodtracking the use of disguising magic will not mask their presence to them. The uniquie ability makes anyone vaunurable to their power, being able to strip ones blood or crystilize it onto a weapon as strong as steel or use it as armor. But caution has to be taken, if they overuse that gift then their own blood can be crystilized.

 

The nature of bloodmages can be seen as a harsh one, similar to that of the lycans, from birth they are made to fight for survival. but it is because of what they are that such measures need to be taken. 

 

Curse of Highblood

 

Even their greatest can be a threat.  Emotions, while it is seen as inhuman to deprive one self of it but for a bloodmage, it can be their greatest fall. As powerful and deadly as they are, the majority of the bloodmages are loss to the hands of their own executioners. Menacing or Berserk are seen as a tragic and shameful level a bloodmage can fall into. It is a point where their powers have manifest beyond their control to the point that they no longer resemble or remember who they are.  Their sense of loyalty of be severe and there is no curse or method to heal one back to their former self once they have fallen far into the power's grasp. 

 

Corrupters is another term for berserks but unlike process of being consumes by power right away they prolong the process. They are trained to fuse their blood with poison so instead of manipulation they targets blood they infect them. Because of their training their either loose one or two senses. Deimos ,, the most recent discovered Corrupter can't see or speak, he uses telepathic communication. These mages are at high risk of falling into a berserk class. They can be clearly distinct by the mark on their body. These are seals that help repress their powers. The more unstable they become , the more marks are added. If there can no longer obtain more seal marks they have no choice but to be destroyed . It's very rare for bloodmage to become corrupters. They must take an oath of loyalty to their kins before their training begins and if they ever lose themselves they are aware that their fate is to die the hands of the Blood Executioners.
